Mind the GAP!

St Cross leaders take time out to consider Growth Action Plan

The Parish of St Cross is following the Diocesan GAP initiative. (GAP = Growth Action Plan) On 7th November the Vicar, Wardens and Parochial Church Council attended an "awayday" considering their hopes for St Cross for the future. From this day, the PCC will set priorities for the parish that will be submitted to Bishop Robert in February. After a period of reflection the next PCC meeting on 3rd December will consider the goals for the parish for the next 12 months, though GAP encourages parishes to take a longer term view potentially building up to a five year plan. The Vicar, wardens and PCC will lead the parish through this process, sharing our vision for St Cross. We will be planning the implementation of our goals and encouraging as many people as possible to be involved. Expect to hear more of GAP!
