Church begins celebrations of 150th Anniversary

Our Patronal Festival this year is on Sunday 14th September and as we are celebrating 150 years since the consecration of the parish church of St Cross we are making a weekend of it!

On Saturday and Sunday, 13th and 14th September, the church will be open for visitors between 2pm and 4pm. Teas will be served. Come and see the exhibition of photographs and memorabilia on display covering the past 150 years.

Services will be at the usual times on Sunday with a special Festival Eucharist at 10 am when the Venerable Richard Gillings, Archdeacon of Macclesfield will be our celebrant and preacher. Following this service there will be a bring and share lunch. Our traditional style evensong is at 6.30pm
